DWC is excited to announce the promotion of Brittany Allen to Vice President of Strategy. Brittany’s dedication, forward-thinking approach, and passion for collaboration make her the ideal leader to drive DWC’s strategic efforts forward. We sat down with Brittany to discuss her vision for this new role, the projects she’s most proud of, and what the future holds for DWC.
1. What excites you the most about stepping into the VP of Strategy role at DWC?
"I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate more intentionally with our leaders and teams. What excites me most is creating increased transparency and clarity around our efforts, so that every member of our DWC family feels empowered to make a positive and powerful impact on our collective vision."
2. How do you envision your role evolving over the next year, and what are your top priorities?
"In the next year, I see my role becoming even more dynamic as I lead the development and execution of strategic plans. My top priority is strategic alignment. As Sun Tzu said, 'Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.' Ensuring that our tactics align seamlessly with our long-term goals is critical to our success."
3. Can you share a recent project or initiative you’ve worked on that you’re particularly proud of?
"I’m particularly proud of the time and effort we’ve dedicated to refining our pricing strategies at DWC this year. We analyzed market trends and listened to customer feedback to create competitive, sustainable pricing models. This project involved close collaboration across departments to ensure flexibility and data-driven decision-making. Seeing these changes support our customers' success has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited to continue supporting them as they grow."
4. What do you think sets DWC apart in the industry, and how do you plan to build on that?
"DWC stands out by delivering simplified solutions through an exceptional customer experience. "DWC’s biggest opportunities lie in digital transformation and customized solutions. By adopting new technologies, we’ll streamline how customers access our products, helping them serve their own clients more efficiently. We’re also focusing on offering tailored solutions to address unique industry challenges. It’s an exciting time, and I’m eager to continue evolving to support our customers' success."
6. Outside of work, how do you like to unwind or stay inspired?
"Outside of work, I like to unwind by diving into a good book, running, and traveling with my family. These activities keep me inspired and energized for the challenges ahead."
